You will want to check with your Pathway Advisor first, to make sure that dropping a class doesn't affect your academic standing or eligibility for financial aid. If you are unsure what Pathway you are in, you can use the Pathway Locator tool. Staff will contact you as soon as possible.

Or you can email Advising at advising@matc.edu. They will be able to answer your questions and walk you through this process.

The MATC call center can also walk you through dropping courses: 414-297-6282.

  2. There can be negative consequences to dropping a class, so that is why we stress the importance of contacting advising@matc.edu first. They will be able to look up the specific details of your academic record and advise you of your options, and answer any questions that you have. For details on the process of dropping a class, you can contact the MATC Call Center at 414-297-6282 and they can walk you through the steps of dropping a class through Self Service. They would also be able to access your academic record and have information about considerations on your personal account that you may not be aware of, that could not be addressed in a generic step-by-step answer.
