Get Microsoft Office 365 for Education - Free/Create an Account

All current students, faculty, and staff @ MATC can use their MATC Gmail address to create a free Microsoft Office 365 for Education account here - Get Started.

Login to your Microsoft Office 365 for Education Account

Once you have registered your MATC Gmail address with Microsoft and created a password, log in at https://www.office.com with your MATC Gmail address and your Microsoft password.

You can then access the web-based versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote via your Internet connection. Click on Apps on the left side of your screen. This web-based access is the option available for use with MATC chromebooks.

You can also download Microsoft Office 365 for free, on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones. Click on your name in the lower left side of your screen. Then click My Microsoft 365 profile. Note: MATC Chromebooks do not allow downloads.

Reset your Microsoft Office 365 for Education Password

There are several options to have your password reset. 

• At the Office 365 sign on screen. Click on "Forgot my password". Follow the instructions to "Get back into your account". Click on the "contact your administrator" option. MATC Help Desk will automatically respond to you within several working hours with a link to reset your Office 365 password.

• Or request your password reset directly with the MATC Help Desk.
