Let's see if we can help you. First of all you need to choose a topic. Review the assignment that you were given. Then, the Library has some resources for choosing and narrowing down your topic. Go to the library homepage at book.matc.edu. Toward the middle of the page is a picture of a woman, and it says "research starters". Click on that and you will find some links for getting started. What might be particularly helpful is the short videos we have created. The direct link to our youtube page is https://www.youtube.com/user/MATCLibrary. Look at the "Research - Getting Started" titles at the bottom.
For further assistance, give us a call. Also, the Academic Support department offers help with writing. There is a walk-in writing center in the C building downtown, as well as online assistance. There is also assistance at the outlying campuses. This guide will get you started: http://guides.matc.edu/ASC/DowntownWriting
I hope this is helpful. Feel free to contact us if you need more ideas, and don't be afraid to talk to your instructor if you are stuck.
