I saw reviews of some books on some different pages of the library guides but I didn't see where the reviews came from. Isn't it copyright violation to copy a review but not say where you got it?

Answer

Under copyright law it falls under the "fair use" exemption, which allows a limited amount of a work to be used for educational use.  However, it IS sloppy for us not to attribute these reviews properly!  I will ask our staff to review our pages to make sure things are properly attributed.

If you notice further errors such as these, please feel free4 to email me at grossmaj@matc.edu and I will make sure that they are fixed.
