What is a database?
A library database is an online resource that contains articles and information from sources such as magazines, newspapers, journals, videos and reference books. Most of the things you find in our databases cannot be found by searching Google or Wikipedia because the library pays for these resources through a subscription. The library currently has dozens of different databases which cover topics from health to business to history. You must go through the library's website to access these databases. To get more information on how to find articles in our library databases, see the library guide.
