Answer

MATC  does not have a rental program for software, but there are a number of ways that you can use different software from your home computer.

Currently enrolled students can purchase Microsoft, Adobe and other software at substantial discounts.  You must be enrolled in at least one class during this current term to be eligible.

MATC students access this software through a consortium made up of most of the public colleges and universities in the State. The name of the consortium is Wisconsin Integrated Software Catalog (WISC). It is located in Madison, WI. All purchases are done on-line and are shipped to the location you specify.  The link to WISC is Currently enrolled students can purchase Microsoft, Adobe and other software at substantial discounts.  You must be enrolled in at least one class during this current term to be eligible.

MATC also has a VDI system in place. For users, this means they can access their desktop from any location, without being tied to a single client device. Since the resources are centralized, users moving between work locations can still access the same client environment with their applications and data. The MATC VDI has several of the most commonly used software used including, Microsoft Office Cortez Peters and Keyboarding Pro. Instructions to install the VDI software on your home computer can be found at the MATC TecHELP page or you can click here for the PDF install and login instructions.
