Q

Is there a way to look up a book by the ISBN #?

I am trying to see what the textbooks look like for my daughters classes so that we know that we are getting the correct book.

Answer

The Library does not typically purchase textbooks. We might have an older edition that was donated, but probably not the newest edition. If you still want to search the Library catalog, go to our homepage at book.matc.edu > and choose the Search Classic Catalog tab in the search box area > and choose ISBN from the Search Type drop down menu, type in ISBN and click on Find it.

Otherwise, the ISBN for a textbook for a specific class can be found in INFOnline. You can do a search for the class, click on the title of the class, and then towards the bottom on left, there is a link called "Required Textbooks". If you have other questions about textbooks, you can call the Bookstore at 414-297-6811.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have more questions. Thanks!
