Christine-

Here are a few resources.  First of all, there is an e-book on gout in our collection, with a chapter on Food and Drink.  You should be able to view it by following this link: http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&AuthType=cookie,ip,cpid&custid=s6246844&db=nlebk&AN=279112&site=ehost-live&scope=site&ebv=EB&ppid=pp_cover

Here is a link to a care sheet on the low purine diet, from The Health and Wellness Resource Center, a subscription database; http://0-galenet.galegroup.com.millennium.matc.edu/servlet/HWRC/hits?docNum=A436228485&aci=flag&tcit=1_1_0_0_0_1&index=BA&locID=milatc_main&rlt=1&origSearch=true&t=RK&s=1&r=d&secondary=false&o=&n=10&l=d&searchTerm=2NTA&c=3&chi=flag&basicSearchOption=KE&bucket=ref&SU=gout+diet

I could not find any cookbooks in our collection specifically on recipes for gout or rheumatism, but I did find a great Pinterest page, with many recipes, articles and other links:  https://www.pinterest.com/explore/gout-recipes/

Some books in our collection that might be useful are the Arthritis Sourcebook (call #616.722 A787 2010) and a new book entitled Gout by Nicola Dalbeth (not yet cataloged), which we can get for you.

I hope this helps.  Let us know if you need more information.
